Check-in is at 2pm for campsites and 4:00pm for cabins, check-out is at 12pm.
Quiet Hours are from 10 pm to 8 am.
No Smoking Allowed anywhere in County Parks per section 41.118.5.
All waste water is to be disposed of at the dump station.
Fees for additional vehicles and pets are collected at the park.
Firewood is available for sale at $6 per bundle. Cash only, please.
Campfires are allowed in the approved fire rings from 7:00 am - 11:00 pm (all fires must be completely extinguished by 11:00 pm). A full campfire ban will be immediately put in place and enforced during a Red Flag Warning.
CABIN INFORMATION:
Cabins have one full size lower bunk and three twin bunks.
Beds are wood framed, NO MATTRESS OR BEDDING PROVIDED (You must bring your own).
Dining table and four chairs, bathroom (toilet and sink only, coin operated showers nearby), propane heat (no A/C), lighting, 110v electrical receptacles, fire ring, charcoal bbq, and picnic table included.
No pets in or around cabin area.
No cooking in cabins.
No RVs or tents allowed.
Maximum 5 people per cabin.

DAY USE AREAS:
Operating hours of use are from 9:30am to Sunset. Sunset Closing hours are posted at http://www.sandiegocounty.gov/content/sdc/parks/Hours.html#sunset
Additional fees will apply for Catering, DJ/ Live Music, Early Entry, and any Apparatus (i.e. Moon bounce, Jumpers, Rock Climbing Walls, etc.) Permit needed for your event.
$3 Parking fee will be charged for each vehicle.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:
Fixing or attaching items to trees or any vegetation is PROHIBITED. This includes pinata, tree swings, roper ladders, and hammocks.
Self-Supporting hammocks are allowed.

DIRECTIONS: Forty-six miles northeast of San Diego. Take Hwy 67 north to Mussey Grade Road, then south one mile to Dos Picos Park Road. Follow this one mile to the park entrance. Or from San Diego north to Scripps Poway Parkway, east to Highway 67. Then north to Mussey Grade Road, etc.
PARK REGULATIONS: CAMPING CANCELLATION POLICY: All fees will be forfeited if a reservation is cancelled less than 72 hours before the check-in date. Reservations cancelled more than 72 hours prior to the check in date will be refunded less a $5 cancellation fee per site. All reservation fees and transfer fees are nonrefundable.

TRANSFER POLICY: A $5 transfer or change fee is charged (per site) for a one-time transfer of a reservation rescheduled within a three-month period of the original arrival date. Transfer must be made at least one business day in advance of check-in time. Transferred reservations cannot be subsequently transferred, cancelled or refunded.

No-shows and weather-related cancellations within the 72-hour period are not eligible for refunds and will result in forfeiture of all fees paid. Open-flame bans (Red-flag Warnings) are mandated by the National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) during periods of extreme fire danger. Reservations cancelled within the 72-hour period prior to arrival due to a Red Flag Warning are not eligible for refund.

All refunds, including deposit refunds, will be credited within 3-5 business days to the original bankcard used to pay for the reservation. If paid by cash or check, funds will be returned via check, within 4-6 weeks to the name and address listed on the account.
Refunds processed more than 45 days after original purchase are subject to manual refund procedures which may result in increased processing time.

CAMPING CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT: Check-in time is 2:00 pm for campsites and 4:00 pm for cabins check-out time is 12:00 pm.

FIREWOOD: Transfer of foreign pests on firewood is a serious problem and threatens native trees and plants. Firewood is available for purchase at each campground. Campers must NOT bring their own firewood. All firewood must be purchased at the campground.

DAY USE CANCELLATION POLICY: All fees will be forfeited if reservation is cancelled less than 30 days before the event date. Reservations cancelled more than 30 days prior to the event date will be refunded less the $5 reservation fee and a $25 cancellation fee per site. A maximum of two changes may be made to a Day Use reservation within one year of the original reserved date and a $5 transfer or change fee (per site) is charged. The transfer must be made at least 30 days in advance of the event date. Transferred reservations cannot be subsequently, cancelled or refunded.

All refunds, including deposit refunds, will be credited within 3-5 business days to the original bankcard used to pay for the reservation. If paid by cash or check, funds will be returned via check, within 4-6 weeks to the name and address listed on the account. Vouchers are valid for one year from the date issued.

DAY USE: Reservations for group picnic areas may be made 1 year in advance. No reservations on Christmas day. Maximum number of persons allowed, fees, facilities available vary by area and park. All fees are collected in advance at the time of reservation. Additional fees for parking, per vehicle, per entry will be collected at the park. Parks open at 9:30 am and close at sunset. A $3 per vehicle parking fee will be charged for parking at the park.

GENERAL REGULATIONS

PARK REGULATIONS
1.0 Fire Hazards: Sec. 41.118- No person shall ignite or permit to be ignited, a fire in any location in a County park except in a campfire or cooking area provided by the County or as specifically authorized by the Park Ranger.

2.0 Pets: Sec 41.123- (a) Pets are permitted in County parks during the hours that such parks are open to the public. (b) No person shall bring a pet into or possess a pet in any County park without first having obtained any required inoculation or valid license for such a pet. (c) All pets in county parks shall be closely attended and physically restrained at all times, either by being attached to a substantial leash no more than six feet in length or by being confined in a vehicle, tent, trailer or other approved structure. (i) The Director may further regulate pets in, or may exclude pets from any County park or section of a County park where it is found that the presence of pets substantially conflicts with the general use and enjoyment of such parks, excepting a dog accompanying an unsighted or deaf person there present. Pets are not allowed in Cabins.

3.0 Plants: Sec. 41.111- No person shall pick, dig up, cut , mutilate, destroy, injure, disturb, move, molest, burn or carry away any plant or vegetation, or portion thereof, including aquatic plants.

4.0 Defacement Prohibited: Sec. 41.115- No person shall in any way deface or mutilate any tree, fence, wall, building, railing, playground or playground equipment, camp or picnic structure, monument or any other object or structure within a County park.

5.0 Peace and Quiet: Sec 41.135- No person shall disturb the peace and quiet of a County park by any loud or unusual noise, or by the sounding of automobile horns or noise-making devices, or by the use of profane, obscene or abusive language or gestures.

6.0 Sanitation: Sec. 41.149- The Park Ranger shall control the size, type and arrangement of trailers and other private camping equipment and facilities permitted in the area in order to maintain the sanitation and orderly appearance of County park camping areas. Disposal of wastewater shall be at locations designated for the dumping of wastewater.

7.0 Weapons and Fireworks: Sec. 41.118- No person shall use, transport, carry, fire, or discharge any fireworks, firearm, weapon, air gun, archery device, slingshot, or explosive of any kind across, in or into a County park.

8.0 Youth Camping: Sec. 41.141- No person or persons under the age of 18 years shall be issued and overnight camping permit unless accompanied by an adult. Said adult shall have either parental right or written authorization to approve medical treatment for those under the age of 18 years.

9.0 Alcoholic Beverages: Sec. 41.136- No person shall transport into a County park, or consume upon the premises of a County park, any intoxicating liquors having and alcoholic content in excess of 20% by volume.

10.0 Overnight camping in County parks is contingent upon maintaining the immediate camping area in a safe and clean condition and complying with all park rules. Failure to comply with the above regulations will result in a suspension of camping privileges and a loss of all fees paid.

TERMS OF SERVICE By completing payment for this reservation, you are agreeing to all policies, park rules and regulations.

Prepaid fees, including pet and extra vehicle fees, are subject to the 72-hour cancellation policy and cannot be refunded at check-in if plans changed.

Reservations made inside of the 72 hour cancellation period may be cancelled but are nonrefundable and all fees will be forfeited.

After a maximum stay of fourteen (14) nights, within a twenty-eight (28) night period, an individual or group must vacate the park in which the fourteen (14) night stay was completed for at least fourteen (14) consecutive nights.

The maximum number of nights an individual may camp per calendar year is 60 nights total, the total of which can be taken from any campground managed by the County of San Diego Department of Parks and Recreation.

All motor vehicles must be legally street registered, insured as required by state law and operated by a licensed driver.

A valid vehicle registration and driver license for the vehicle operator are required to check into any campsite.

Customers who present an invalid or expired vehicle registration or driver license will not be allowed to check into their campsite and will not be eligible for a refund.

You may cancel your camping reservation online by locating the reservation in your online account and clicking the cancel button and following the screen prompts. If you paid for the reservation with a credit card, your account will be credited less any reservation and cancellation fees, provided it is cancelled more than 72 hours prior to arrival and has not previously been transferred. If you paid by cash or check, you may cancel online but will need to contact Central Reservations to process your refund. For assistance, please call (858) 565-3600 or (877) 565-3600, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. If calling on a weekend or holiday, please leave a detailed message including reservation number and a contact phone number on our after hours message line to document the date/time of your request and a Central Reservations Representative will call you back during regular business hours to assist you.

All fees will be forfeited if a reservation is cancelled less than 72 hours before the check-in date. Reservations cancelled more than 72 hours prior to the check in date will be refunded less a $5 cancellation fee. All reservation and transfer fees are nonrefundable. Previously transferred reservations may be cancelled, but are nonrefundable. All transfers must be done by park staff or by calling (858) 565-3600 or (877) 565-3600, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. excluding holidays.

A paid reservation, for each night, entitles the camper to use the site(s) from 2:00pm (check-in) until 12:00pm (check-out) the day of departure. Campers that do not check in within 24 hours of the start of their paid reservation will be considered a no show and will forfeit the site(s) and all fees paid and the site(s) will be offered to campers on a first come first served basis.
